War Story
When we talk about naval civs and naval warfare, it’s quite obvious team 2 was a bit screwed. But with a lot of practice for WCL going around at the time of writing and the hereby belonging sling rule, people would just do about anything. And luckily it went crazy this time too. Team islands is generally grushing and grushing. A landing if possible but whoever controls the sea usually has the edge.
But what if you can double sling your Aztec ally so he can pump out elite eagles into the enemy’s fragile economies? Even though double slinging a meso civ isn’t extremely original on expert levels, it’s still hard to fend off, if executed right. The Aztec forced his 3 enemy players of their common island but they all landed on his home turf instead. This is where he made a drastic and probably selfish mistake. Once a slinged player is “up and running” he should sling his allies back. So they can quickly get into the game too to finish the job. But the Aztec kept all the resources for himself and eventually had to fight 3 fully boomed players with weakened allies by his side.
A great game and great fighting spirit, especially by _Ares_ who must be complimented for keeping his team mates sharp.
