On the Battlefield
Luring deer is a popular thing to do if the conditions are good. A good example is arena: the map is easy to scout and usually you can’t attack early. Besides that you can save 100 wood to increase your castle age time by luring your deer to your TC or mill. In fact, it’s even possible to steal deer like that! Other conditions that invite deer luring are when your deer patch is relatively close to your TC, which can happen on any map. Last but not least there’s migration, on which you’re pretty much forced to lure deer because there are no boar or extra sheep on your little island. Luring deer will save you wood for a mill, which you can spend on a dock to start fishing!
